Heidi Gadd is an Arizona Native & has had a violin in her hand for nearly 40 years. She has been teaching Youth & Adults since 1997 and has had numerous students go on to careers in music, receive scholarships & play an active roll in their various professional & community musical groups. 

The majority of her students that participate in their school orchestra or community youth orchestra sit 1st Stand within their sections. Heidi also teaches Viola & Cello. She teaches multiple styles of music. 

Heidi has spent her entire life playing or “practicing music” as she says. She is both classically trained & has a strong love for the electric violin, which she began experimenting with in the 90’s at age 15. She participates in local seasonal orchestras, plays weddings & private events & is a studio musician. 

Being the Concert Master for the early years of The Pangean Orchestra, a World Instrument Orchestra, broadened her understanding of music between cultures, in both the sonic & social aspects. 

While deeply rooted in classical & baroque, the original rock stars, as she would explain to you, Heidi also has other roots in rock & roll. She’s worked with numerous local bands over the since the Mid-90’s, as well as Major Artists. She toured with Saul Williams in 2005/2006 for his Sophomore Self Titled album produced by Rick Ruben, recreating the piano, synth, keyboard & guitar parts from the record to perform them live on her electric violin with effects pedals. 

More recently Heidi contributed string parts to GREY DAZE Amends & Amends Stripped, as well as a new Album releasing in 2022. Numerous Artists are featured on this album & it is currently capturing worldwide attention.
